Early Success: Apprentices Complete Ahead of Schedule
After many years of producing top class electrical apprentices, in 2021 we started training Fire and Security Apprentices. We are delighted that our first apprentices have successfully completed their course, in fact finishing months ahead of time. Congratulations to Cameron Williams and Nathan Gill. All your hard work has paid off.
Matthew Scott, Fire and Security Director comments:
We took the decision to start the Fire and Security Apprenticeship due to a lack of quality engineers available across the country. With a partnership of our Clifford College and Skills for Security, we can train our apprentices, they work with our own quality engineers on site and train at Skills For Security colleges in Warrington and Watford. Congratulations to Cameron and Nathan. they have worked hard to achieve this, both based at Barlows UK in Malpas, Cheshire, they have a great career ahead of them.
Christine Haycocks, Head of Quality, Clifford College comments:
Clifford College visited Cameron and Nathan in training at Skills for Security when they were part way through their apprenticeship. They both said “We are really enjoying our apprenticeship and learning every day; we feel heard and trusted”. They both rated themselves as “green” and said they were trying to achieve as much as they could and meet all the targets that were set for them. This positive attitude obviously worked as they have successfully completed their apprenticeship early. Congratulations to Cameron and Nathan from Clifford College based in Malpas, Cheshire.
