In 1948 electrical installation and maintenance work was developed in the south Cheshire area to provide clients with a reliable, quality service. To maintain this standard over many years apprentices have been trained and nurtured to both fulfil roles as engineers and managers. From the beginning, over 200 apprentices have been trained on the City and Guilds electrical courses, with many completing IOSH managing safety courses and driver training.
Clifford college demonstrates the continuation these early values of outstanding training and education for aspiring young people in a thriving and safe environment for them to achieve their personal best on the challenging programme. The apprenticeship includes equality and diversity, health and safety, ECS card examination, first aid training, IOSH working safely, safe isolation coupled with testing and inspection. The specialist training branches provide an excellent and professional facility for safe working and learning.
We work closely with employers to cover other industry topics above and beyond the course to provide a dynamic training environment.
